Without wanting to get political, do you realize the desire to cancel things has been around for decades? It drives me nuts when people state this is a new thing and only on one side of the political spectrum.
There was a huge uproar when Elvis gyrated his hips on the Ed Sullivan Show. Protestors lobbied CBS to never book Elvis again.
That was 1956.
