He was referring to the fact that it would not boost the share price much as there are so many shares out there now as compared to when he first took the reigns. His said he asked the attorneys if it was worth buying shares in the open market in reference to that which is different than just buying shares in the prescribed time period to show he has skin in the game. We already know he has skin in the game by his mortgaging everything he and his wife had to buy the molecule. What else do you want? Most CEO's are hired, he bet everything on this to work and didn't take a salary for a few years. That takes guts and perseverance....and faith in what he thought could happen. Cut the crap
