Whether a combination with checkpoint inhibitors or other drugs is worthwhile depends on whether leronlimab already takes care of the problem. For example - leronlimab downregulates PD-L1, to what extent is unknown, if it downregulates sufficiently then a PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor would add nothing.
