Re: HHIGambler #102677
You are correct. As stated many times before I was thinking he wanted to get 10% of Cytodyn in shares. For which I'd start with about 15% and close above 10%.
He statement shows that I was correct.
I believe at the time we were at $1.5 B or so.
He was looking for over 10% and a BOD seat to get us passed the finish line.
We would have been probably 8 to 12 months ahead if a win win situation was reached. I have to admit our current mgmt is wearing flip flops.. Delay, Mahboob.. let's do this, let's do that .. I do see a lot of senior people in my pine of work. They are not lazer focused to solve a problem. They keep hunting moving targets and create more variable. Someone need to guide them give them a direction in my line. I'm sure this is no different.
I still believe we need someone who can sell science... and Dr. Recknor a good guy but not a virologists with the Stanford stamp on his resume.
And don't get me wrong. Even Bruce mentioned he will bring other scientists to FDA meetings. So he doesn't want the other 13d members. He just needs supporters.
So, ideally Bruce on BOD and Nader and Scott can focus on their day to day work and some other independent directors to fill the gaps. Would be an ideal BOD IMO.
