Late to the discourse, but I agree completely with your assessment.
Of all the indications for which Leronlimab has likely efficacy, LH is the most difficult. It is, even by Patterson’s admission, highly heterogenous. Witness the treatment and inclusion of patients in some studies lacking demonstration of infection, in addition to range of symptoms from persistent myocarditis to neuralgia.
Modification of innate immune activation and trafficking (in addition to HIV entry) is the basis of Leronlimab efficacy whether CA, infection, or NASH.
Leronlimab will help some in LH, but not the indication upon which one should bet the farm.
