Who said anything about alternative energy companies? I didn't. Alternative energies never come up in my searches because they don't have the numbers. I search on earnings growth, P/E, and dividend yield. Even years back when I just focussed on growth alternative energy companies never came up. They are entertaining, I wll give them that. I would love to see them work out, JBI included. My observation is based on the companies that have come up in my searches before, mainly when I just did growth, and watching them play out.

Even after I get the results of a search, I only choose ones hwich I believe will be successful. The fact that the US will be self-sufficient in oil in 5 to 10 years is one long-term trend that cannot be ignored. Guess what kinds of companies come up in my sarches most often... oil-field and shale oil service companies! Hardly alternative...
