I have not run a clinical trial, but I am a retired executive director of the medical service of the US foreign service. I have supported medical clinics and hospitals at Embassies in 272 countries throughout the world. Many of those are in countries that are openly hostile to the US. Others have corrupt government officials who make corruption in Brazil look like child’s play. Some of the drugs that I shipped were not recognized in the receiving countries. Some of the countries did not recognize the diseases we were facing.
My comment had to do with the logistics of getting the drugs from A to B. Please be assured that I would not make the statement on logistics unless I had a basis!
