I always felt that when you respond to a basher, you encourage him.  I used all my ignores and I don't think ever responded to one.  I did respond to some who went back and forth hoping to influence them. But there are a number who are not interested in any kind of honest discussion. I am so interested in those going in the same direction.  I have concluded, thru my own and others DD, that this is a good investment. I just have no desire to try to convince anyone of anything.  For those who do, Bravo to you. I agree with the suggestion to not respond to these characters, but, instead, start a new post.  My best to you,  Jim
