Borrowed share question...if shares are borrowed from the brokerage by a short, who controls the vote? Owner or short?

Could this be a possible reason for D asking for the share info in that e-mail? It's really none of their business about my investments.

I appreciate the info and have learned much from my Cydy brothers and sisters.
