The two things are not mutually exclusive. Hydroxychloroquine got approval. If we had had a major feature after Montefiore maybe our 14 day CD12 numbers would have had more weight because patients would have been clamoring for LL.
For one, media attention brings more patients into the trials. Long Haulers is another prime example. Media would have started Brazil 3 months ago, media would have push PI to try LL. Maybe India. In a pandemic, media changes the rules.
