In the category of disingenuous -- if 13D supporters think it's okay to blame current management for failures of past, now terminated, former employees, then shouldn't they be blaming a former CEO, terminated for cause, said cause being failure to let a clinical trial go forward?
Why should Dr. Recknor (for instance) be blamed for the failures of people in his position in the past? Shouldn't the past management -- members of the 13D group -- be the ones who get the blame for their failures?
I will go on record as saying that I would like to see Nader Pourhassen step down from his position, because he has made too many mistakes. But Drs. Kelly and Recknor have been great, advancing the science and the clinical trials, and the thought of replacing them with the 13D footdragger is just absurd.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... well, you know...
