None of it actually has any scientific meaning at this point because they haven’t studied the mRNA vaccines long enough in a controlled clinical trial to fully assess efficacy or safety. Hence, no real approval.
The CDC to me leaves much to be desired. On Monday they announce a NIH study will begin soon to see if a 3rd mRNA booster will benefit transplant patients or other immuno compromised. Dr. Fauci was noted as the expert available for interviews. On Wednesday, the CDC led by Fauci announced they formally recommend a 3rd booster for transplant patients and all immuno compromised.
How about actually having that study start Dr. Fauci? That’s a heck of a lot of full Covid spike protein mostly non nuetralizing antibodies to circulate in their bloodstreams. Why the rush to recommend a 3rd booster before a study assessing risk reward? My theory- mRNA vaccines don’t work past a few months, are risky and research showed they induced ZERO antibodies in the majority of transplant patients. Lots of “CYA.”
