The problem is that this is not "a cold".. an endemic virus that could cut you down as soon as your immune system is a little compromised is not just another sniffle. This affects way more organ systems, way more drastically, and has the capacity to do much worse. He can stop the worrying; without real changes in behavior, that future is almost a certainty.
