I do not think a majority shareholder has to share anything. Many companies have no dividend.
We only really get paid by the share price rising if others think the company has present/future value.

Feel like he really understood how to game the system. Probably nothing super illegal as he did have some working (do not know how well) products.

Would have liked to know the details of all the broken contracts !!
