OK, everything is looking so promising right now that I feel the need to jump in with some idle speculation.
Two directors decide to leave. It seems the likeliest scenario is to free the positions for a partnership.
Who will go in? I still vote for Melinda Gates. Why? Because she would be good in the position and because Warren Buffett recently withdrew as advisor to the Gates foundation. Why did he withdraw? Because of “the divorce” according to the media. Right. It is funny what speculation people will accept and what they won’t. Warren Buffett says he currently had $80 billion to invest if he finds the right company. OK, why not invest in ours? Why not go forward under the guidance of philanthropists versus Big Pharma? What is the likelihood of this scenario? Maybe .01%. But hey, the possibility is there. Also, whoever is currently guiding the ship seems to be incredibly astute in running a business.
On the investment side, I am still spectacularly underwater and not buying anything. I did, however, roll over my existing shares from my IRA to a Roth at $1.36 so maybe I will look like a genius eventually anyway. Either that, or I will go down with the ship along with the rest of you.
