I understand your perspective, but as a practical matter, I do not think telling the overweight (or the comorbidities Southbill mentioned) to lose weight will have any perceptible effect. It's like telling smokers to stop - a very small percentage may, but the overwhelming portion of that population will not. So, the focus is and will be on actions that most of the population will embrace, or tolerate. It's easier to get folks to start a new habit, or undertake a one-time/two-time action, than it is to break someone of a bad habit.

On the other hand, there is a new habit I would like the CEO to adopt - honest, regular communication to shareholders.
