If intravenous Brilacin shows a significant benefit in the clinical trials for moderate to severe covid 19 efforts will be made to use it in mild disease and high risk patients with exposures to covid 19.
An effort will be made for a more convenient delivery. IPIX
has state an interest in developing a Brilacidin inhaler. I think other modalities of treatment will be sought such as an IM depo injection or an oral formulation with enhanced absorption.
