One of the primary goals in vaccinating the public against Covid 19 is to achieve herd immunity, but how can herd immunity be achieved if the vaccinated can spread Covid19?
Herd immunity is much more difficult to obtain as long as the vaccinated can catch and spread the Delta variant. The powers that be understand that and the fact the public will vote them out if they can not stop the epidemic.
Some hospitals and nursing homes have responded by testing employees for Covid frequently, both vaccinated and vaccinated ,in areas with high delta infection rates which includes much of the country now. They understand vaccinated workers can catch and spread Covid19 variants o patients.
An effective antiviral, hopefully Brilacidin, may help stop the epidemic by treating Covid positives regardless of the vaccination status before they become super spreaders.
