I've learned there are all types of investors and institutions. Ones like Vanguard and Fidelity that will jump in early and others that will wait until everything is proven. I've mentioned before, any sign that the products are available, working and there is demand should be enough to trigger more investors and institutions to get in early. Why I said 'more' is there are other investors and institutions that came before them
Nothing wrong with investors and institutions waiting for revenue as they will be in the middle of the investment pack and then you have the rest that said I should have invested in stock XYZ when it was $2 something.
It's very similar to startup were you have those that invest in seed rounds and Series A and those that wait until Series F, G, etc. It's about how much risk are you comfortable with vs. the reward.
Bambuser that I've used as an example doesn't have $.5B market cap because of revenue. It does because of potential. Tech stocks are one sector that puts a higher value on potential than most sectors.
On the Q2 call in about a week, all Rory has to do talk about the growth the company is seeing right now to get this hypergrowth party started.
Or a few more Marketing America deals between now and Q3 results, or partnerships or acquisitions or ? could do it to
[Edit] Oh, snap, they just announced an even bigger one
Good news is 3rd quarter results are filed in November and not December so Q3 results are only 3 months away
