The lawsuit is a good way to get a cease-and-desist order, if the dissident group doesn't voluntarily stop their alleged violations of SEC rules.
If they were to contest this, and ask for a full trial, this ought to give CYDY the right to glean information which would support their position -- aka, the "discovery" process.
This would allow them to investigate everything that the 13-D group claimed on their proxy filing. For instance, this would enable CYDY to "discover" exactly WHO was funding their group -- the information they did not want to give, if I remember correctly.
I wonder if they want information that they withheld to be make public.
