I don’t understand how NVAX was able to get the largest of federal funds to develop a vaccine for Covid when they were unable to get a phase 3 approval on the flu vaccine they were working on and have no products on the market. A small company that has the potential for a complete vaccine can’t get a penny to move forward with a potential to curb this viruses hold on the world. I just don’t get it. If I was in the government and a company came to me with the data to prove there potential drug, I would provide funds to do whatever it took to verify its potential. I’m starting to believe it’s not about the it could save but pure politics. I’m I wrong? To be open I did own a small position in NVAX before Covid and sold because of its failures to get though the phase 3 trials. I never thought they would get federal funding for Covid. I actually thought they were on there way to bankruptcy.
