The PI3K/AKT pathway induces CREB which is a growth factor for cells and increases the rate of cell growth which is important to both angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation. If I remember correctly cancer cells upregulate PI3K/AKT. Leronlimab downregulates PI3K/AKT.
Every infection will increase the level of CCR5 and CCL5 if the infection is serious enough and if cancer cells are present in any number that could induce the cancer cells to grow into a full blown tumor that the immune system cannot control.
