Star. I had an incident like the Mass. boy when my son

was 5 years old.

He had parked his little bicycle up against a telephone pole

and pulled the fire alarm.

Firetrucks came down the street with sirens on.

I happened to notice his bicycle over there and he was in the house.

We lived close to a county fairgrounds and there was a worry for the fireman.

I signaled the fireman to come over and I told them I thought my son

had pulled the alarm, his bicycle still there.

I let the fire chief, of course wearing his big uniform, into our house to talk to him.

Poor kid was dumbfounded but got a little talking to by the Fire Chief.

Didn't happen again.

Well, the only time my son ever pissed me off was one time I looked up

and he had a fork trying to stick it into a wall outlet. Scared the holy crap

out of me and I ran across the room knocking him aside. He didn't like me

part of that day.
