Facebook is getting a lot of heat for censorship now. The question is whether anyone should have the right to decide who is correct and suppress those deemed as incorrect. I'm reminded of this message board where it's even worse.
What happens when a completely dishonest moderator is installed and not only uses her bias to decide which posts to delete, but also uses the delete key as a weapon?? Then it turns into an Investorshangout.
The good thing with Facebook is that it's receiving national attention. It's not like investorshangout where the chain of command will only ever be a dishonest moderator and a web site operator who is more interested in engaging in click fraud than in adding value to his site.
Hopefully Facebook is stopped before it gets too bad. It's a big, big issue when people start to become routinely suppressed by powerhouses like Facebook. That doesn't get better on its own and people have to take action.
