Tough to watch, there has to be a better way to handle drug during a pandemic, like trials without placebo arms.

Why the F do you need a placebo arm when millions of people have had various stages of the disease? Couldn't one take an average of 100,000 readings and get a pretty accurate SOC. The whole FDA trial with worldwide internet connections and ER's in contact seems so 18th century. If someone gets good results, the world could know in minutes. Stick the sick with the drug and see how they do compared a million other people.
