Some of the southern states are reportedly seeing the highest level of new cases and hospitalizations seen to date. I heard a doc discussing the significant potential for additional variants of concern and the fact that the coronavirus will be with us for many many years to come. That being noted, here's hoping B can demonstrate the same reduction in viral load in humans as it did in the preclinical testing (and also for other enveloped viruses)!
