Besides the advantages Generex has stated, there is a very important reason to continue this to the end including approval or at least the point where they know it works.

Having an approved drug is a valuable asset for the company if for no reason other than it shows they can acomplish their goal. We have a track record of picking the wrong things to study(trial design) and not being able to take what we have learned from the set backs and move forward due to insufficient funding. Science gets proven and will be able to be used for swine/avian etc. Who knows what else. Proving the platform will improve funding/partner opportunities and we get get ahead instead of bring up the rear.
