Both should be applied. The use of masks and social distancing has led to a drop of cases of the seasonal flu for example. I can imagine that one should avoid being exposed to a high viral load, but I'm no expert.
Vaccination alone won't be the ultimate answer, just as it isn't the answer for the flu. Mere vaccination without social distancing won't solve it. Take a look at Israel, where everyone thought they can go back to normal. Mutations have only just begun, what will be the situation 3 years from now? Where will be the efficacy by then, even if one agrees to get a regular "update" shot? That remains to be seen.
One thing seems sure, there will be a use for Leronlimab, especially for those in dire condition and long haulers.
