The FDA was not and is not constituted or intended to be a creator or source or sponsor of medical knowledge or medical ingenuity. The FDA was constituted to be a gatekeeper. Every stone cold 'crat inside the FDA is, by nature, happy to be a gatekeeper. They are rewarded handsomely for being diligent gatekeepers. You will never likely hear anyone in the FDA "scream" on behalf of any medical idea. Which is not to say they will never nudge forward an Alzheimer scam for an FDA sponsor.
