Definitely talk to a tax accountant
You cannot put more that $6000 in a Roth ($7000) if you are over 50 in one year and there are income limits to contributing that amount directly to a Roth.
You can transfer in IRA money but you pay tax today on All the money you move in.
Check with a tax professional please.
