I opened a Roth and Max’d it out earlier this year. I do remember partially the requirements and I believe you have to wait 3-5 yrs before you can access the money if I remember correctly. However, I have both an IRA and brokerage accounts too. So waiting that long for tax free money is fine for me. But everyone’s situation is different.
