A little more.is this the reason for the trial being set within 60 days

Floridas speed trial rights,with demand for a speedy trial ....even before the time period for a speed trial without demand runs,but after the information is filed,a defendant can file a separate pleading called a "demand for speedy trial"which must be served on the persecuting attorney.Under Florida statue rule 3.191(B)once the "demand for speedy trial"is properly filed,the defendant shall have the right to trial within 60 days.The same 5 day time limit for the speedy trial hearing,and the 10 day recapture period apply after a demand is filed.
