And not even just the healthcare system. The temporary and permanent housing, as well as basic education and financial education, are aimed at improving the entire lives of folks who have been cast aside by mainstream society.

As Dr. D. understands, you can't just treat one part of a person battling addiction or PTSD or myriad other conditions (eg asthma--the four main foci of the healthcare plan as he outlined in the IFAH speech) and expect permanent improvement without addressing the entire infrastructure of that person's life. This is a true war on poverty, a project to bring equity to forgotten/intentionally marginalized communities. Can't imagine a better life project.
