It's an insiders review of the US's response to the pandemic. I advise keeping a bucket close so you don't have to get up every time you need to puke. Michael Lewis' "The Premonition" is another great read on the subject, but not as detailed as Slavitt's.
Unfortunately this is who we are and why good medicine can sits on shelves.
