Unfamiliar with it but I just did a speed read through 6 medical papers. First thing is to have the doctor check for possible underlying conditions for a causative effect although they've probably already done that. Inflammatory/autoimmune disease causing fibrosis in the mesentery and destruction of the fat layer. Standard treatment steroids and antibiotics if called for. From my short read steroids do fairly well in the vast majority of cases. Leronlimab can of course substitute for steroids in inflammatory/autoimmune conditions with less side effects and should have superior effectiveness.
