No rumor was stated outside of Buffets name at that time, hence the observation that if the rumor was of some sort of white knight funding or other pie in the sky nonsense, the reality is that Buffett and his great friend Bill Gates have (had, Bill) a great PR acumen, but that has little bearing on reality in the markets.
