The exercising of warrants which means buying shares is what helped the company pay some bills.
The subsequent selling of all the shares that were exercised was not selfless and actually hurt the stock price due to the massive sales in a short time by NP and MM both for both to the volume of shares sold and the bad impression that such oversized sales by insiders sends to the market (sales that were well in excess of the money required to pay taxes on the warrant exercise)
In retrospect the big sales in the $5 range was a good financial decision by them given the current share price - but has always been troublesome to me to sells such a large volume by someone who thinks the stock price should be 3 digits.
So I would says this was both good and bad for the company.
