My laymen's understanding is that paperwork, insurance, and patient management is a time consuming and costly component to a medical practices. I would think that rather than every practice developing practices and procedures that can be mostly streamlined and bundled and dynamic is a huge advantage financially and logistically to a practice. But just walking into different doctors offices ... it is often varying degrees of chaos ... especially as they become more of a conglomerate of practitioners
