Listening to Dr. D's speech, I am IN AWE of the vision that Dr. D. and JHB have put together. I used to work in adult literacy in NYC, often with folks just out of prison, and coordination of services was always so difficult. It depended on personal relationships that might chance to have developed through networking with workers in other agencies. This completely envisioned support system *that is paid for*, including transitional housing, financial literacy and basic ed, job creation, free phones, 24 hour telehealth...all coordinated with pharmacies etc...this is just jawdropping.

There never seemed to be enough funding to make anything like this happen, thanks to that dinosaur mentality he refers to, and the financial scarcity led to intense territoriality and siloing, which helped no one. But JHB and Dr. D. have figured out how to make it financially viable, not to mention *profitable*, and with this AMAZING public-private partnership, quite possibly change the paradigm for *so many* services across the entire country. Ultimately, it could possibly change our country's economy. It will definitely change lives.
