It doesn't compare. 1/6 was an attempt to interfere with the certification of results from a national election. The assault on and breach of the Capitol, by American citizens, has no precedent in our history.
Trump clearly incited it, his words were unmistakable and explicitly threatening toward Pence, encouraging him to do 'the right thing'; which would have required Pence to violate his oath of office.
The rioting morons were LOOKING for him, and for Pelosi. Did they look like they just wanted to chat with either of them?
Your attempts to confine' the meaning of armed' to the use of firearms is not consistent with law nor is it of remote interest to those injured by, again, Trump supporters.
