Found that a little confusing as well. My guess is that after 56 days of suffering, LL arm only fared 65% - 400% better than placebo. But day in & day out from onset, LL arm was much more able to be productive & maintain positive mental attitude. Not sure about the dollar value, but 56 days of pain & anguish vs little to none during the same 56 days may be what they are looking at here.
A non-addictive pain killer for 56 days? Plus a better final outcome.
