FWIW I first heard of CYDY Dec 2019. I did a week's DD and having had first hand experience butting heads with a national industry in bed with a federal agency and seeing all the potential indications LL may be efficacious for I said "There is no way in hell BP is going to let LL on the market". Then I bought my first shares. Never been very bright. Covid comes along and I double up. Slow learner who enjoys pain.
I read here that we need to emphasize the HIV BLA. I don't have a problem with that, but what makes anyone think that the FDA/BP can't continue to move the goal posts on whatever else we come up with? We are 0 for our relationship with the FDA while seeing BP do-nothing and unsafe drugs being ushered through with parades and big bands.
I believe Evil and others are correct. We had to beat on the FDA door, but it appears to have been slammed in our faces. Some may think we just need to knock again, more politely maybe. I think going international is the best current move.
I don't know what new management is going to do to convince BP that it is ok to lose hundreds of billions of dollars to an upstart bio. Therefore I believe the 5%ers want to cut a deal with BP. Ok with me as long as it is a pretty sweet deal. Regardless, I would like to give the international market a solid try first. Who knows, there might be a country out there that actually wants to save lives in stead of making BP happy. I know, I'm such a dreamer.
In going international, and knowing I'm likely to still meet some resistance from the industry, one thing I would insist on is silence. As much silence as possible. I'd probably even hint at failure a few times even if I was kicking ass. Run silent, run deep until in a position to break out and do some damage in the market place. At least as much as possible.
I have plenty of problems with current management, but I'm certainly not willing to take a pig in a poke from the 5%ers especially with lots, and lots, and lots of BP bucks able to be floated around. You want support from little old me I want to know you are working on my behalf and not the big bucks boys. Try selling me on something other than "Trust us!"
