Well, as far as missed deadlines go, at least this is pretty standard and widely accepted. Not really a big deal.
However, no news on the Excellagen financing is disheartening to say the least. Joe “informed” me the other night that it would not require an 8K. I would think that a financing deal for a product that could quickly have annual sales in the amount of the company’s current market cap would require an 8K, but I’m not in the biz.
Whatever the case, if managmement of a publicly traded company is going to hold a conference call where they trot something like that out as a positive upcoming (and extremely near-term) event, I would think it should be announced when closed, regardless of whether it is required or not.
Therefore I can only assume this financing has not closed until I am officially told otherwise.
So much silence.
