I guess this cones back to executive compensation being tied to performance in the share price. Whether you are a pumper or a basher, there is no way to massage the numbers when looking at a one year or six month price chart – we are down between 50 and 80%. And the share price is a non-negotiable yardstick for how things are going with the company, whether you argue that it is manipulated or not.
I have some friends that I recommended the stock to, and they bought in between four and six dollars. I am pretty pissed off at the performance, and while I support the company on one hand, there’s no excuse to have the worst performing stock maybe in the entire stock market, other than companies that are outright scams.
So I am glad this compensation was taken back, and I for one welcome some hard questions for the executives about stockholders that have suffered quite a bit over the last year or more.
Call me a basher if you like. I could give a shit
