A lot of custodian plays out there this year because the SEC says all Pink Sheets needs to be current by November. How are they going to enforce that? Is OTC Markets Group going to automatically turn them all to CE? No way. OTC wants them to trade.
My thoughts:
Same as they currently do. SEC drags their feet. One by one. They will issue a suspension which lasts ten trading days. By default, if a ticker is not quoted after 4 trading days, it loses market maker status and turns over to gray market by default. The only thing I see them adding is another reason to add for a suspension.
Right now they have reasons:
Fraud,
Questionable stock activity
And Delinquency.
Probably add (Not current with OTC Markets?)?
Right.
We'll see what they come up with.
