Re: MD VIROLOGIST #93205
Investors in AEMD may be getting a little to overexcited. With patient from case 1 why no mention of the number of days after last treatment and discharge from the ICU? Patient 1 was also given a second course of steroids. Patient 2 died shortly after receiving his first treatment. The treatment may turn out to be effective but the first two cases are far from any proof.

Quote:
Case 1 The patient’s COVID-19 plasma viral load was undetectable at the onset of treatment with the Hemopurifier.
The patient received 4 additional 6- hour treatments from HD 27 through 30. The patient improved clinically and was able to be maintained supine on an FIO2 of 50% and a PEEP of 10. She subsequently required a tracheostomy. She was transferred out of the ICU on HD on an FIO2 of 40% and 5 of PEEP. She was discharged to a long-term care facility where she was able to be successfully decannulated and sent home on nasal O2 20 days later.
