Re: homerbedloe #30087
I actually listened to this the other day...IMHO, as long as GNBT stop issuing/diluting shares, we can avoid this.
Hopefully GNBT/NGIO will have revenue soon - Remote Patient Monitoring, Excellagen....then we won't need any more dilution.

Maybe off topic, maybe not. It's a long video (34 min), but the description of what is happening regarding death spiral financing, synthetic shares and naked shorting is absolutely frightening. While associated with meme stocks du jour, there is little discussion on them specifically; most of the discussion is about systematic issues/actions.

Around min 4 and min 27 (+ or -) there are two descriptions of illegality that almost exactly match what has happened to GNBT (how death spiral financing works) and now NGIO (the NUGX share issuance - without knowledge or consent of the corporation). Of course without a legal battle, we'll never know if what is being described applies (applied) to GNBT/NGIO, but the pattern is sure familiar. And the impact on the share price, even in the face of good news, is VERY familiar.
The speaker (Christian) is talking about the major markets (NSYE, NAS); if this is all going on at that level (and since he brought multiple lawsuits, I'm guessing he has some tangible goods that support that it is), can anyone here imagine what goes on at the OTC, aka Wild West, level? I'm beginning to wonder if GNBT/NGIO will ever get a chance to succeed, even if they do scientifically.
