I agree with you Smach. When Biden goes to Europe (I think that is next week) I hear one thing on the agenda is to get agreement from European countries to support a world wide corporate tax system. This will be the first step toward a world government run by multi-national corporations. Look out!
The argument for it will be that we may have fewer wars and conflicts (not necessarily so), but the down side is that there will be no more national allegiances and we all will be working for the corporate one percenters who will not likely have our best interests in mind. The wisdom of the founding fathers was to keep political leaders accountable to the local residents who voted them into office. That system is certainly not perfect as no system is. However, when political leaders no longer worry about their voters, then money will influence all political decisions from that point forward. So if one thinks there is too much influence now, then wait for what the new system might bring. Not good.
