Its certainly possible that they pledged their shares in hopes, or in trade for some position with the company. In my mind that is one of the first things I hope we can vet out, as that really weakens their position.
On the other hand, if they are just pledging shares to meet the 5% requirement, but will not be involved, then who knows.
What I am unclear about is whether this 13D group (and the members inside of it 'ie Pestell and Anthony C') are going to be influential in the nomination of alternates. That also doesnt sit well with me.
They have lots to explain before they get anywhere near 50% IMO. Despite what some random message board poster claims.
I can only speak for my circle of friends/associates which is 12 people with about 2.5 million shares total are currently thinking. 1 of them signed on, and 3 are adamantly opposed, and 8 are waiting to see what comes out.
