A pledge does make a vote in your favor happen. So far... your groups lack of direction will have a big impact on people following a group with no plan. I would think that you could of lost half of your pledged votes already just being secretive in any plan or direction. (5% - 2 1/2% = 2 1/2%) Nobody likes being led astray without a open transparent well designed plan.
